This
quilt is a miniature. Miniatures are generally more difficult
to make because of the size of the
pieces. I
used a "sparkly" fabric for the
white background as well as the navy blue strips. The fabric
on the back of the quilt is the same as the border. As
with all my quilts, the binding is hand stitched to
the back of the quilt and has mitered corners. This quilt
could be used as a table centrepiece or as a
wallhanging. It would also make a nice hostess gift. |
